Sept. 28, 2026: The God Who Keeps His Word

Big Idea: To live a SENT life, you must know the enemy, know yourself, and depend on God.

Memory Verse for the Week:

Isaiah 13:19-20
“And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the splendor and pomp of the Chaldeans, will be like Sodom and Gomorrah when God overthrew them. It will never be inhabited or lived in for all generations; no Arab will pitch his tent there; no shepherds will make their flocks lie down there.”

God declares that Babylon, once a symbol of worldly glory, will be reduced to permanent ruin, never to be inhabited again. Isaiah 46:9-10 -- God alone declares the end from the beginning, and His purposes will stand.

History is not random. It is authored. When God speaks, the universe listens and obeys. Isaiah prophesied Babylon's fall more than a century before Babylon even rose to power. Today, archaeologists walk through its ruins, confirming what God declared long ago. This is not a footnote in history. It is a testimony. The same God who spoke Babylon's end into existence is the same God who speaks over your life today. His promises are not suggestions. They are certainties. When you feel surrounded by systems and forces that seem too powerful to challenge, remember that God has already written the final chapter. Your confidence is not in what you can see. Your confidence is in the One who sees everything.
